The history of civilisations shows that every civilization manifested its values and foundational beliefs (religion) through a comprehensive range of its cultural activities including science and technology. Dialogue between science and religion is needed as each can provide rich insights into reality which are holistic and integrated in nature. Harmonising religious and scientific knowledge is one way towards understanding the ultimate source and meaning of life itself.
